Tez Figueroa

Tez Figueroa (they/them/elle), from Austin’s Out Youth, is proudly queer and nonbinary, and a detribalized Mexican-Puerto Rican American with ties in Oklahoma and Texas. They hold an MFA in Creative Writing from Texas State University and were a high school English and Creative Writing teacher for the last three years. Tez is currently the Advocacy and Education Coordinator at Out Youth as well as their TX GSA Network Coordinator.
